This original abstract painting by artist Candace Veinotte depicts The Great Peng.  A mythical creature from ancient Chinese lore, said to transform from a Kun, giant fish into an enormous bird. Symbolizing transcendence, freedom, and the vastness of the spirit. The Peng soars beyond the ordinary, much like the bold and expressive brushstrokes in this work.
